I haven't been writing on here lately but in the past, publications were the best way to grow reads and visibility. Once you write a story that gets accepted into a publication, you would get instant exposure to that publication's audience. I loved submitting articles on personal development to "Better Humans" but I think that they stopped accepting articles, I am not sure. Maybe you can start but submitting to "Illumination". It is a great publication. Another thing is that you should keep writing. I used to write daily, that's when I saw my numbers go up. Other people have had different experiences though, but this was my experience. I hope it helps, good luck.
