I'm not sure how well the boost translates into encouraging this. Boosting articles that were published in certain publications used to work better towards achieving this goal of encouraging meaningful content on the platform. Back when people knew that they would be paid $X if a publication accepted their work and on top of that, their article would get more views, it motivated writers to think deeply about what they were putting out because they knew that it was worth their time instead of trying to put out a quick article before going on to something else. Right now, the boost eludes us all. We don't understand how to stage our work within its requirements and worse still, there is no way to measure what it takes to achieve it. But with all that said, boost or not, I think that what is needed is to make it practical for writers to spend their time here. Many writers make fun of the platform calling it their hobby project yet to some like me, this is our safe space but we also want to make it sustainable. I say all this but I understand that you being at the top of this have a better perspective than me, its just seems like the morale of many writers is saddening.
