In the article, I have discussed the significance of having "meaning" in ones life. I have also discussed the limitations of logic, reason and science in giving us satisfactory answers to the topic of finding meaning in our lives. I've talked about mythology/mythos as the realm best suited for such type of work and religion is introduced into the conversation because religions have tremendous knowledge in mythos.

I don't understand where you get the feeling that I think religion is a "thing" between me and God especially considering that this article isn't discussing anything about the celestial realm and I made that clear in the opening statement but you are still trying to bring it back. My thoughts on the dangers of abandoning religion are about the loss of meaning in our lives and the dangers that loss of meaning causes in our lives.

If I want to talk about God, this wouldn't be the article for it because I cannot talk about God along with some psychological aspects of human nature. I get the feeling that you think I am against religion, which is totally wrong and the total opposite of what this article is about... I don't know what your point is exactly but all the questions you've asked are in the article. Please read it.
