I don’t know if it's just my phone’s audio but at this point, I think the joke’s on me.

The joke is on me and everyone who actually believed that Medium acquiring Knowable would really bring Audio to the platform.

I mean, have you listened to the audio using the app on your phone??.. On my phone, it sounds creepier than a seance.

I can understand the argument of having a minimum viable product so I won’t go so hard on the desktop version… But the phone version??

Isn’t this audio supposed to work best on the phone since that’s where its practicality goes a long way?

Why doesn’t Medium just let us use our voices instead of using Knowable’s joke of a product?

I’d love to listen to my favorite writers and I wouldn’t mind which accent they had.

I’d feel more connected to the stories of individual writers who had the option to add their voices to their stories... Way more connected than I’ll ever be with some computer-generated voice.

I read/ listen to Jenny Jenny Lane more than any other writer because, on top of her stories being so good and relaxing, the voice she embeds via her sound cloud helps me appreciate the nature of the…
