On my article about Amber Heard, one reader commented…

I have a question: If she was old, fat and ugly, would you be defending this lying, emotionally unstable, bed-pooping lady?

This is clearly a cheap jab which simply means that I am concerned about Amber Heard because she is young and pretty.

If I had been a woman writing that article, that statement wouldn't exist but in its place would have lived some other statement calling me a misandrist.

The thing with cheap jabs is that they are nothing but revelations of the sender’s insecurities.

Now I can’t tell whether this reader is a woman or a man since they hide behind a nickname and a pink-hearts profile picture but not that it even matters, base thinking is gender-neutral.

Base thinking is always void of anything other than shallow desires. Someone or something exhibiting base thinking will not be able to look beyond their own desires to focus on the issue at hand.

In fact, many of the people who are going after Amber Heard or Johnny Depp in this way are exhibiting base thinking tendencies.

When I write about prioritizing human well-being, I do recognize how it can…
