When Home Scared Me

Following my heart helped me heal and become better

I look back at 2014 and am grateful that it's a reference to time and not a place I have to revisit. What made that time really awful was my process of growing up and how that often crashed with the ideas of the community I was supposed to fit in and more specifically the ideas that my step-mom expected me to follow.
