Wow that was real.. I've always thought that with the way racism sips into every aspect of our societies and living, people find it rather complex to approach so much so that those narratives can begin from even the most mundane routines that have been contaminated by racism... I knew of some areas where racism is truly where the profits are but this article makes me question validity of what people including me have to say about racism... Yes most of us are for sure afraid to discuss the truly uncomfortable stuff that are bound to cause a lot of division.. One of the reasons for this atleast for me is to make sure that we can have a thoughtful disagreement when talking about racism. This however is much better achieved if a person with opposing views from mine can still read my article and not be offended by it. I feel like this opens up a chance to engage people who hold terrible ideas. But once someone is offended by an idea, even if their idea is wrong, they will just double down and stick to it to defend themselves. That is definitely one of the biggest challenges to address if we are to open up effective communication in creating harmony within race relations. What's truly eye opening is the idea that people are milking this injustice..I thought this was just done by co-operations. I had never really taken note of this and am definitely going to go back and read race related articles anew and see how low humans have become lol. Great article bro.
